Hungry4 entered the Cape Town market with a full-scale day festival set within a country house. The event featured international headliners and a seamless day-to-night programme, drawing a strong and engaged crowd.

Project goal

Hungry4 set out to expand into South Africa, building our event brand from the ground up with no existing infrastructure, audience, or local presence, while maintaining the same high standards.

Kuss Studio was tasked with making it happen from the ground up. That meant developing a market entry strategy for Cape Town, sourcing and managing local production partners across a different continent, aligning multiple stakeholders with different workflows and timezones, and building an entirely new audience in a city where the brand had never operated. The challenge was not just logistics but connection: bridging two distinct music cultures and delivering something that felt authentic to both.

The outcome

Kuss Studio turned a blank canvas into a sold-out open-air event, proving a great model for international brand expansion.

A sold-out debut edition in Cape Town brought together international house music icons Cinthie and Luuk van Dijk alongside a carefully curated lineup of South Africa’s leading local artists. The result was a fully operational local partner network built from scratch and a proven cross-continental production framework connecting stakeholders across Europe and Africa. Future editions are already confirmed, cementing Cape Town as a permanent chapter in the Hungry4 story.
